Jacqueline Fernandez was born in Manama and was raised by an ethnically diverse, multiracial family. The father of Jacqueline, Elroy Fernandez is a from Sri Lanka. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 won Miss Universe 2006 competition in March 2006 and she was also crowned Miss Universe 2006 also. In 2006, she took home she won the Miss Sri Lanka title. After that, she went into the world of television, hosting a program on Sri Lankan businesses known as Lanka Business Report. Padukone had the honor of being a daughter of badminton champion Prakash Padukone. Padukone grew as a child in Bangalore however, she was born in Copenhagen. Padukone played in the national championships as an teen, but she gave her sports career up to pursue a career as a model. Padukone is from Mangalore, and her native language is Konkani. Her lineage hails from Padukone village, which is located in Kundapura Taluk in the Udupi District in the state of Karnataka, India. Prakash Padukone was a badminton legend who retired in the late 1980s. Her mother, who worked for a travel agent, is also from this area.
